I studied at The British School of Osteopathy in London from 2000 to 2004, where I was honoured to receive the coveted Technique Prize across all four years. After graduating, I moved to New Zealand in July 2004 and began practising in Mount Maunganui, before relocating to Cambridge in 2005 to work at the Cambridge Osteopathic Clinic. In 2008, I took the leap to establish my own practice — Cambridge Family Osteopaths — where I continue to treat today.
My osteopathic journey has evolved significantly over the past 25 years. Personal experience with several cycling accidents and the rehabilitation process that followed have deeply shaped the way I practice. While my foundation lies in structural osteopathy, my approach now also integrates exercise and rehab, nutrition, life coaching, and fascial techniques. I place strong emphasis on understanding mental health and emotional wellbeing, which became even more important to me after my own recovery journey.
In the clinic, I wear many hats — sometimes all of them at once — but at the heart of my practice is a commitment to making every patient feel safe, valued, and heard. Building a strong, collaborative relationship is key; patients are encouraged to be active participants in their recovery. I believe education is vital — people should understand what's happening in their bodies and feel empowered to be part of the healing process.
I don’t promise to fix everyone, but I promise to give my best to each person who walks through the door. The most powerful testament to my work has always been the kind referrals from happy patients.
Outside of the clinic, cycling remains a major part of my life — some might say an obsession, but it's one that keeps me grounded and focused. I've been fortunate to earn medals at both the World Masters Games in 2017 and at National Masters events on both road and track.
Cambridge has been a wonderful place to raise our children and build a life, and we hope to call it home for many years to come.
